Le complot Empty
MessageSujet: Re: Le complot   Le complot EmptyMer 11 Jan - 15:21

Citation :

2- Day of Vengeance par Bill Willingham et Justiniano.

- le 20 avril: The OMAC Project 1/6
- le 27 avril: Day of Vengeance 1/6
- le 4 mai: Villains United 1/6
- le 11 mai: The Rann / Thanagar War 1/6
- le 18 mai: Day of Vengeance 2/6
- le 25 mai: The OMAC Project 2/6
- le 1er juin: Villains United 2/6
- le 8 juin: The Rann / Thanagar War 2/6
- le 15 juin: Day of Vengeance 3/6
- le 29 juin: The OMAC Project 3/6
- le 6 juillet: Villains United 3/6
- le 13 juillet: The Rann / Thanagar War 3/6
- le 20 juillet: Day of Vengeance 4/6
- le 27 juillet: The OMAC Project 4/6

Infinite Crisis 4 : Rahhhhhhh Lovely! (Spoilers Inside)

Citation :
"One Year Later..." storylines

* In March 2006, both Superman and Batman titles will launch separate 8-issue storylines between their two titles (Superman and Action Comics, and Batman and Detective Comics, respectively). Both titles promise to introduce us to DC's superheroes "one year later" and cause major changes to the characters' status quo.
o The Superman storyline is co-written by Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek, with art by Pete Woods, and cover art by Terry and Rachel Dodson. The four-month, eight-part story arc called "Up, Up and Away" will run through Action Comics #837-840 and Superman #650-653. It will feature new versions of supervillains the Toyman and the Kryptonite Man, as well as the Prankster. The first part of the story cryptically describes Metropolis bidding farewell to a hero.
o The Batman storyline, "Face the Face", is written by James Robinson, with art by Leonard Kirk and Don Kramer. It will run through Batman #651-654 and Detective Comics #817-820. Several Gotham villains are murdered by a mysterious vigilante who has a connection with the new commissioner of Gotham police.
* Selina Kyle will no longer be Catwoman, and someone new (her friend Holly) will have replaced her. Additionally, Selina will be pregnant and will be using a different name.
* Robin is wanted for murder.
* A Batwoman will be introduced.
* Oliver Queen, a.k.a. Green Arrow, will have become mayor of Star City at the beginning of "One Year Later...". Green Arrow will have been out of sight during the past year as Queen ran his campaign and took office.
* The Outsiders will have publicly disbanded as a superhero team, but will continue to act covertly.
* Supergirl and Power Girl will be teamed together as the heroes Nightwing and Flamebird in the Bottled City of Kandor.
* Ravager (Rose Wilson) and Kid Devil, along with two others, will become members of the Teen Titans. The mysterious Titans East will be introduced.
* Vandal Savage will crash land on Earth, seeking Green Lantern for retribution for an unknown crime.

* The Question, Renee Montoya, Elongated Man, Booster Gold, Black Adam, Steel and possibly Lex Luthor will be the major players in 52.
* Grant Morrison has mentioned in interviews that he has, 'in his spare time, redesigned several unused DC characters'. He presented them to Dan DiDio as part of his Seven Soldiers of Victory proposal, and some of these will be 'rolling out with the rest' in 2006.
* It has also been noted that one of the main characters of 52 will not survive by the tale's end.

Le complot Empty
MessageSujet: Re: Le complot   Le complot EmptyJeu 9 Mar - 20:15

Citation :
Black Condor II (Ryan Kendall; first appearance, Black Condor #1 (1992); killed in Infinite Crisis #1): Though Black Condor belonged to both Primal Force and the Justice League (briefly), he eventually found a home with the Freedom Fighters like his predecessor. Unfortunately, Condor was the first member of that team to die when they were ambushed by the Society.

Human Bomb (Roy Lincoln; first appearance Police Comics #1 (1941); killed in Infinite Crisis #1): A member of the Freedom Fighters since their inception, the explosive hero wound up on the wrong end (er, right end?) of a beating by Bizarro during the confrontation with the Society. To his credit, he did manage to smoke Dr. Polaris before his demise.

Uncle Sam (First appearance, National Comics #1 (1940); possibly killed in Infinite Crisis #1): The personification of the American ideal led the Freedom Fighters, and was felled by Sinestro. However (State of the Union Moment coming) . . . you can’t kill America, bitches! So while it looked pretty clear that Sam was quite dead, his body was missing by issue #2 and he’s apparently around to lead the new incarnation of the team “One Year Later”. He may have been dead, but, say it with me, “He got better.”

Dr. Polaris (First appearance, Green Lantern #21 (1962); killed in Infinite Crisis #1): It’s fitting that the magnetic man with a split personality wound up in pieces. ZING! I’m on today. At any rate, Dr. Polaris was actually one of the first characters involved with the first Crisis. He joined Luthor’s Society and participated in the attack on the Freedom Fighters. He was also stupid enough to mock the Human Bomb, who detonated and killed him. Remember that, kids: “Smart in books is not always smart in life.”

Phantom Lady II (Dee Tyler; first appearance Action Comics Weekly #636 (1989); died in Infinite Crisis #1: Dee was trained by original Phantom Lady Sandra Knight, and participated in many adventures over the years. She joined the Freedom Fighters sometime around Our Worlds at War. Possessor of one of the all-time fan-favorite costumes, Phantom Lady II was killed by Deathstroke during the Society ambush.

Ratcatcher (Otis Flannegan; first appearance, Detective Comics #585 (1988); killed in Infinite Crisis #1): Otis, they don't see you as I do. I wish they would try to.
I'm sure they'd think again. If they had a friend like Ben, er, you. This lower-level Bat-villain fell to an OMAC as the new Crisis began in earnest.

Carissa (Killed in Infinite Crisis #2 and Wonder Woman #223): Amazon warriors are so tough they have to be killed twice. Good thing there are plenty of OMACs.

Neptune Perkins (First appearance, Flash Comics #66 (1945); killed in Infinite Crisis #3): Perkins joined the Young All-Stars during World War 2, and later served with distinction in the Senate. He was married to fellow Young All-Star Tsunami, and believed himself to be the father of her daughter Deep Blue/Indigo (she actually belonged to Atlan). Perkins died during the Society’s assault on Atlantis when he was bitten in half by King Shark. He’ll never wear a lifejacket again.

King Shark (Possibly killed in Infinite Crisis #3): King Shark killed Neptune Perkins, and was promptly impaled by Aquaman. However, a character that appears to be King Shark showed up in the new Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis.

Citizens of Atlantis: In Infinite Crisis #3, the Spectre destroys the city of Atlantis, presumably killing thousands of its inhabitants.

Stallion (Killed in Infinite Crisis #4): Criminal enforcer, hit-man, and frequent antagonist of Nightwing, Stallion was shown to be in the city of Bludhaven when it was Chemo-bombed. He is assumed to have been killed.

Citizens of Bludhaven: The Brotherhood of Evil/Society of Sin/Guys-Who-Fight-The-Titans acted in collusion with the Society by using the construct Chemo as a bomb dropped on the city. The resultant chemical explosion appears to have killed thousands.

Pantha (First appearance, New Titans #73 (1991); killed in Infinite Crisis #4): Originally called X-24 (and this was 15 years ago, kids), the claw-wielding being known as Pantha was created by the Wildebeest Society and joined the Titans during the “Titans Hunt”. She formed a surrogate family with “Baby” Wildebeest, itself a genetically-engineered creation of that group, and Red Star, the Russian Titan. When a coalition of heroes descended on Superboy Prime, Pantha, true to her nature, attacked without thinking. Superboy Prime, still not realizing his strength in the regular universe, swung and decapitated her.

”Baby” Wildebeest (First appearance, New Titans #84 (1992); killed in Infinite Crisis #4): The one IC death that I find really hard to reconcile is the death of “Baby” Wildebeest. The creature was essentially a toddler that would attain adult size and even greater strength when it or its “momma”, Pantha, were threatened. Upon seeing her death at the hands of Superboy Prime, “Baby” leaped into the fray and was promptly killed by the unraveling Kryptonian himself. One questions the morality on the part of the heroes of repeatedly allowing a toddler into battle, which I have to figure is much worse than the employ of teen sidekicks.

Bushido (First appearance, Titans Annual #1 (2000); killed in Infinite Crisis #4): Bushido first appeared during the “Planet DC” event and joined Titans L.A. His death is one I don’t have a hard time reconciling.

Risk (Cody Driscoll; severely injured in Infinite Crisis #4): One of the “Teen Titans” from the mid-‘90s, Risk loses an arm in battle with Superboy Prime. He is shown to be alive in critical condition in Teen Titans #32.

Mick Wong (died during Infinite Crisis #4): This pal of Jason Rusch, Firestorm, joined him in the “Firestorm Matrix”, the fusion needed to make the hero manifest. Mick accompanied Jason into space, offering counsel and wisecracks. Unfortunately, events caused Mick to “burn out”, and he essentially dissipated.

Lois Lane of Earth-2 (First appearance, Action Comics #1 (1938); died in
Infinite Crisis #5): Lois was the wife of the Earth-2 Superman. After the original Crisis, she accompanied her husband, Alexander Luthor and Superboy Prime into the pocket universe outside of the new timeline. E2 Superman was manipulated into helping Alexander Luthor further his plan to find the one “perfect Earth” with the promise of a return of Earth-2 that would restore the ailing Lois. Sadly, after Luthor’s promised “Earth-2” appeared, Lois and E2 Superman arrived there only long enough for her to collapse and die.

Steve Trevor of Earth-2 (death revealed in Infinite Crisis #5): Steve Trevor left the mortal plane with his wife, Wonder Woman of Earth-2, after the first Crisis when they ascended to Mount Olympus. After watching the events of the new Crisis unfold, and losing Olympus due to the departure of the pantheon, Steve and E2 Diana tried to make their way to the Wonder Woman of the current universe. Steve expired in the attempt.

Wonder Woman of Earth-2 (Diana Prince; first appearance All-Star Comics #8; apparently fades from existence in Infinite Crisis #5) E2 Wonder Woman made the journey to the side of the current Wonder Woman with the aid of her husband, Steve Trevor. The act cost Steve his life. Reaching her counterpart, “Diana Prince” told her that she had to stand strong by (the current) Superman’s side whether he wanted her help or not. “Diana” indicated that she didn’t have much time, and literally flew off into the distance in her Invisible Plane after depositing Wonder Woman on Earth-2 to find Superman.

Related specials and regular issues

Nabu (First appearance, More Fun Comics #55 (1940); killed in Day of Vengeance Infinite Crisis Special #1): A Lord of Order, the spirit of Dr. Fate’s helmet, and a fairly consistent pain in the arse, Nabu has a complicated history. At times alternating between well-intentioned and manipulative, he eventually took over the incarnation of Dr. Fate during the running battles with the Spectre. During this clash, he and the spirits of the former Dr. Fates who dwelt in the realm in the helm were destroyed.

Jade (Jennie-Lynn Hayden; first appearance All-Star Squadron #25; killed in Rann-Thanagar War Infinite Crisis Special #1): Daughter of Green Lantern Alan Scott and the villainous Rose, and sister of Obsidian, Jade enjoyed great popularity as a member of Infinity Inc. and The Outsiders. She had a long run as Green Lantern Kyle Rayner’s girlfriend, and it was by his side that she died while battling against the machinations of Alexander Luthor in outer space. The energy in her went into Kyle, triggering his return engagement as the entity called Ion.

Hector Hall and Lyta Trevor aka Fury (First appearances: Lyta first appeared in Wonder Woman #300, and Hector bowed in All-Star Squadron #25, both 1983; they left this plane in JSA #79): Among the characters who took a continuity beating in the first Crisis were Hector and Lyta. Originally Silver Scarab and Fury of Infinity Inc. the two went through many turbulent periods. Hector became a new Sandman, died, as we reborn as the new Dr. Fate. In the interim, Lyta gave birth to Daniel of the Dreaming and was concealed from Hector’s searches for months. Eventually reunited, the duo fell victim to the Spectre’s rampage. Trapped in hell and beset by demons, Hector was certainly dying. An unconscious Lyta accepted the invitation of Daniel to join him in The Dreaming. Their physical bodies apparently dead, Lyta and Hector left the core universe, “never to return”.

Fisherman (First appearance, Aquaman #21 (1965); killed in Gotham Central #37): This constant foe of Aquaman enjoyed watching OLN and Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her.” He was killed amid the craziness in Gotham at the outset of the new Crisis.

Crispus Allen (First appearance, Detective Comics #742 (2000); killed in Gotham Central #38): Gotham police detective and partner of Rene Montoya, Crispus Allen was killed by Jim Corrigan, a dirty CSI tech. However, his story is still far from over.

Rag Doll (Peter Merkel; first appearance Flash Comics #36 (1942); killed in JSA Classified #7): Frequent antagonist of several members of the JSA, the original Rag Doll was presumed dead, but returned near the end of the run of Starman. Joining with the Injustice Society of a mission to free Johnny Sorrow from extradimensional imprisonment, Rag Doll would up being killed in commission of Sorrow’s liberation.

Satanus (First appearance, Adventures of Superman #493 (1992); killed in Action Comics #832): The demonic adversary of Superman was killed by the Spectre during the latter’s anti-magic rampage.

Tekla (Killed in Wonder Woman #223): Apparently, some Amazons get killed by OMACs only once.

Koryak and Vulko (likely killed in Infinite Crisis #3; revealed as dead in Aquaman #38): Koryak was the son of Aquaman (from his Inuit booty call back in the day), and Vulko was his occasionally duplicitous adviser. Both were killed when the Spectre destroyed the city of Atlantis.

Sam Kurtis (killed in JSA #81): Kurtis was the absentee father of Stargirl of the JSA. He was killed when his building collapsed during the battles of the new Crisis.

Fel Andar (killed in Hawkman #48): If you’re convoluted and you know it clap your hands . . . Fel Andar was a character created to help address some of the post-Crisis retconning that spilled out of the late-in-the-game changes to Hawkman. Ostensibly created to explain how a Thanagarian type Hawkman could have fought alongside the JLI after Crisis and before Hawkworld, Fel Andar was said to be a Thanagarian spy who betrayed and killed his wife (that brief period’s Hawkwoman) and fled the planet. His son would turn out to be Golden Eagle. Andar actually attempted to reform, and was killed by Blackfire during the battles of the Rann-Thanagar conflict. As he died, Andar implored Golden Eagle to reform himself.

Presently, there are a number of possible deaths that are either intentionally mysterious or unresolved. Among the questionable demises are Air-Wave (who may have simply lost form to reintegrate later), Black Manta, Captain Nazi, Chain Lightning, Kite-Man, Mister Mxyzptlk (who obviously died, but has a nature that may allow an easy return), T’Charr and Terataya.

Also, there are a few groups of characters where questions linger. Firstly, the Royal Flush Gang. They were apparently all slaughtered by the Joker, but two gang members appeared elsewhere after the fact and King is allegedly immortal. Is there already a new gang, and/or did Joker discover a way to kill King?

As to a number of Atlantean characters, there is presently no firm word on Tempest, Dolphin, Cerdian (their daughter), Lagoon Boy, and Lori Lemaris. Likewise, the fates of Kid Flash (Bart Allen), Flash III (Wally West), Linda Park, and Wally and Linda’s twins are uncertain, given their entry into the Speed Force.

And that’s the way it is at the beginning of March, 2006. We’re segueing into “One Year Later” with a number of questions still on the table and more fates to be resolved. Perhaps we’ll check back in soon with an overview of the revamps and major changes wrought by the mini-series and the “One Year Later” titles. Sounds like a great bit for the week of issue #6 . . .

Citation :
* Jean Loring, during a twisted attempt to get back with her ex-husband the Atom, accidentally killed Sue Dibny, the wife of Elongated Man.
* During the investigation of the murder, seven members of the Justice League—the Atom, Black Canary, Elongated Man, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Hawkman and Zatanna—met, discussing how they once mind-wiped Dr. Light after he was caught assaulting Sue.
* Calculator resurfaced, setting up assignments for metahuman mercenaries.
* Dr. Light, seeking protection from the Justice League (who considered him a suspect of Sue's murder), hired Deathstroke. Slade Wilson fought them to a near standstill until Green Arrow plunged an arrow into his eye.
* During the battle, Dr. Light remembered that the heroes had purged his memory, altering his personality and intelligence.
* Further covering her tracks, Loring arranged for Jack Drake (the father of Robin) and Captain Boomerang to kill each other.
* While questioning the Shadow Thief, Firestorm was stabbed and detonated, disappearing in an explosion of energy.
* The Flash learned that the Justice League also mind-wiped Batman, who walked in on them as they were "operating" on Dr. Light years ago.
* The Atom figured out what Loring had done and turned her over to Arkham Asylum.

In THE FLASH #214-#216, Wally West learned of Barry Allen's involvement in the Dr. Light mind-wipe. He also discovered that they had done the same to multiple villains over the years, including the Top, who in turn had altered the personalities of several of the Flash's rogues.

In ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #636, the Man of Steel learned that the villain called Ruin was targeting his loved ones. Unbeknownst to Superman, Ruin is working for Lex Luthor's newly formed secret Society of super-villains. Following a battle with Ruin, Superman then met with Wonder Woman and Batman, who discussed the option of mind-wiping him, as they had done to Dr. Light.

In MANHUNTER #6, Kate Spencer began the prosecution of Shadow Thief for the murder of Firestorm. Also in that issue, the Society employed Calculator to find someone to "deal with" Shadow Thief.

In GREEN LANTERN: REBIRTH, Hal Jordan returned to claim his mantle of the Green Lantern of space sector 2814. In doing so, he gave up the mantle of the Spectre, freeing the entity to once again become the embodiment of God's wrath.

In FIRESTORM #9-#11, Ronnie Raymond returned to life, now bonded to the mind of the new Firestorm, Jason Rusch.

In TEEN TITANS #21, Dr. Light attacked the Teen Titans in an effort to rehabilitate his reputation.

In OUTSIDERS #21, Nightwing learned that Batman had been funding the team. Meanwhile, Arsenal discovered that Deathstroke had been masquerading as the Dark Knight and manipulating the Outsiders for over a year.

In JSA #70, the Society successfully recruited Black Adam.

In BREACH #3, Kobra agents—working for the Society—encountered and battled the transformed Major Tim Zanetti. Luthor's group is now greatly interested in the power that Zanetti possesses.

In WONDER WOMAN #214, Cheetah introduced Zoom to Dr. Psycho, a member of the secret Society.

In COUNTDOWN TO INFINITE CRISIS:

* Batman told Alfred that he knows "everything they did" in reference to the Justice League's memory-wiping actions in IDENTITY CRISIS.
* Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Dr. Psycho, Talia, Black Adam and Calculator stood revealed as a cabal of super-villains known as The Society. Its goal? As Luthor told an angry Dr. Light, "retribution."
* Adam Strange sent a desperate emergency message to the JLA watchtower, telling an alarmed J'onn J'onnz that the forces of Thanagar had invaded the planet Rann.
* The Wizard Shazam, revealing an upcoming conflagration involving Captain Marvel, the Spectre and additional members of DC's magical community, revealed that "for the first time in a thousand years" he was "filled with questions" concerning the future.
* Someone stole over 100 pounds of kryptonite (recovered from Supergirl's arrival on Earth) from a Kord Omniversal warehouse.
* Investigating the theft, Blue Beetle uncovered the O.M.A.C. project, an all-seeing satellite surveillance network that knows the secret identities—and weaknesses—of the world's heroes, including Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Green Lantern, the Flash, Martian Manhunter and Superman.
* An O.M.A.C. satellite blasted the house of Blue Beetle, severely injuring Booster Gold.
* Maxwell Lord, head of the O.M.A.C. project, revealed himself to be the King of a newly formed Checkmate and fatally shot Blue Beetle, who had uncovered his plans and refused to join his team.
